Arsenal set to swoop for former Liverpool star

ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger is targeting a deal for Real Madrid full-back Alvaro Arbeloa.
The Spain international has plenty of Premier League experience under his belt, having turned out for Liverpool before his move to Madrid, with whom he won the Champions League last season.
Wenger is looking to increase his defensive options, having seen Bacary Sagna and Carl Jenkinson leave the club in recent weeks, and he feels that the experienced full-back will be a real asset to his squad.
